This is my report on activities of the Mozilla Foundation for the week ending February 24, 2006. (I’m still catching up after a delay.) Significant topics for the week included FOSDEM, CSUN, and relicensing.

Projects for the week

Here’s a partial listing of what I and others at the Foundation did the week of 24 February; note that I’ ve omitted the “next action(s)” comments because they were out of date:

  • FOSDEM localizers meeting. This went off well (except for Gerv Markham having his luggage and laptop stolen) and ended up within budget.

  • CSUN conference. I worked with Aaron Leventhal and Rafael Ebron to finalize arrangements for the Mozilla booth at the CSUN conference on technology and people with disabilities. The Foundation sponsored travel for a student volunteer to attend and do booth duty.

  • Mozilla (re)licensing. I made contact with one of the remaining contributors from whom we need permission for relicensing, and made a formal request for the necessary permissions.

This concludes the report.
