This is my report on activities of the Mozilla Foundation for the week ending July 14, 2006.

Projects for the week

Here’s a partial listing of what I and others at the Foundation did this past week; most of my time was taken up with travel and the board meeting, so not much else went on from my point of view:

  • Certification Authorities. I approved the application from Wells Fargo for inclusion of its root CA certificate in Mozilla-based products.

Next action(s): Evaluate new information on KISA and Trustis. Continue processing applications from more CAs waiting in the queue. Look at adding more root CA certificates from Geotrust.

  • OSCON. Zak Greant and others are working to help put together a brief presentation on the Mozilla Foundation at OSCON 2006.

Next action(s): Zak to coordinate with other Mozilla folks attending OSCON, also look at the possibility of a Mozilla BOF.

Upcoming activities

Here’s what we’ll be doing and where we’ll be in the coming months.

  • I will be out of the office and mostly unreachable on July 18 and 19.
  • Zak Greant and Gerv Markham will be attending OSCON in Portland OR July 24–28.

This concludes the report.
